When you hear “Charlie Woods,†chances are you think of Tiger’s kid making his mark—and, well, he absolutely is.

Recent Highlights

In late May 2025, Charlie captured his first AJGA title at the Team TaylorMade Invitational, firing a brilliant final-round 6-under 66 to win by three strokes after a three-round total of 15-under par. This victory sparked a major jump in his AJGA rankings, moving him up from around 606th to much higher on the leaderboard.

In June, Charlie faced a tense 3-for-1 playoff to earn his spot in the U.S. Junior Amateur. Although he later missed the cut there, shooting rounds of 81 and 74, it’s clear that the pressure of competition is already helping to sharpen his game and build valuable experience.

Early July saw Charlie finish tied for 12th at the prestigious North & South Junior Amateur at Pinehurst, a solid performance in a highly competitive field.

Most recently, at the Junior PGA Championship, he surged into serious contention with back-to-back rounds of 66. However, a final-round 74 dropped him to a tie for ninth place, narrowly missing out on an automatic berth to the Junior Ryder Cup. Still, finishing in the top 10 at one of junior golf’s premier events is an impressive accomplishment that signals a bright future ahead.

Rankings Update and Future Outlook

He currently sits around 169th in the Junior Golf Scoreboard world rankings, reflecting steady progress as he climbs the competitive ladder. While this ranking may not yet place him among the very top juniors globally, it clearly shows he’s moving in the right direction. His recent results—especially that breakthrough AJGA win and several strong finishes in major junior tournaments—signal that his game is developing both in skill and confidence.

Looking at Charlie’s game, the outlook is promising. He’s demonstrated the ability to shoot low scores under pressure, which is a critical skill at any level of competitive golf. What stands out is his resilience; even when he stumbles in final rounds or tough situations, he bounces back quickly, showing maturity beyond his years. That mix of talent and mental toughness will be key as he transitions from junior events to more challenging amateur competitions.

Looking forward, the focus for Charlie will be consistency and experience. Fine-tuning his ability to close out tournaments strongly and maintain his composure in high-stakes moments will elevate his game further. With the right guidance and continued exposure to elite competition, there’s little doubt Charlie can keep climbing the ranks and make a real impact in the world of golf. Golf fans and analysts alike will be watching closely, eager to see how Tiger Woods’ son shapes his own legacy in the years to come.
